Volleyball Recap: Kenosha Christian Life's Run of Seven Straight Wins Now Over + How To Watch

It was a good run, but Kenosha Christian Life unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Prairie School Hawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in August.

Kenosha Christian Life was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made The Prairie School work for it, especially in the fourth set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 18-25, 25-21, 28-26.

Sophia Pereira and Emma Rossmann certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Pereira had 23 digs and two aces, while Rossmann had 14 kills and eight digs. Pereira also put up an assist, which was her first of the season.

Madelynn Sanchez was the offensive standout of the game as she had 16 digs and five assists. Those 16 digs gave her a new career-high.

Kenosha Christian Life's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for The Prairie School, they moved to 5-9 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.

Coming up, Kenosha Christian Life will be playing at home against HRK at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for The Prairie School, they will head out to take on St. Catherine's at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
