Basketball Recap: Ryle Takes a Loss

Ryle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Franklin County Flyers 58-28. The contest marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Ryle's loss dropped their record down to 7-20. As for Franklin County, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 games, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ryle will challenge North Laurel at 4:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Franklin County, they and Frankfort will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest, having both just played.
