Volleyball Recap: Byers Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Byers was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Holyoke Dragons. If the Bulldogs were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Dragons when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-8, 25-13.

Karley Linnebur paced Byers' offense, picking up nine kills. Linnebur got some help from Leyla Sayler and her ten assists.

Byers' defeat dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Holyoke, they pushed their record up to 17-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Byers wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Peyton on the 21st. As for Holyoke, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Yuma on the 17th.
