It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Savannah Country Day can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Providence Christian Academy Storm on Wednesday. If the Hornets were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Storm when the teams met back in September of 2020, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Savannah Country Day took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-19, 27-25.

Savannah Country Day lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Boots Buckler, who had 15 assists and three digs.

Savannah Country Day's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Providence Christian Academy, they pushed their record up to 36-10 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
