Softball Recap: Westminster Christian Beats George Jenkins for Their Fourth Straight Victory

Westminster Christian entered their tilt with George Jenkins on Saturday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 4-3 W against the Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Kaley Dyer spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on eight hits and racked up nine Ks. Those nine strikeouts gave her a new career-high.

At the plate, Westminster Christian saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Casey Lesman, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base. Jasmine Armenteros was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-4.
