Volleyball Recap: Thomas More Prep-Marian Extends Winning Streak to Three

Thomas More Prep-Marian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hill City Ringnecks. Surprisingly, this marked the Monarchs' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Thomas More Prep-Marian took both sets by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-9.

Raegan Allen paced Thomas More Prep-Marian's offense, picking up eight kills. Allen got some help from Bridget Feldt and her eight assists. Brynn Rebel controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Thomas More Prep-Marian's victory bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Hill City, they dropped their record down to 4-18 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coincidentally, Thomas More Prep-Marian and Hill City will both be playing Trego the next time they take the court. The Monarchs will head out to face the Golden Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Ringnecks will play them later in the day, at 8:00 p.m.
