Lawrence Central waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They claimed a resounding 72-27 win over the Warren Central Warriors. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.

Lawrence Central's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Laila Abdurraqib, who went 6 for 9 en route to 18 points along with eight assists and three steals. The match was Abdurraqib's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lola Lampley, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds.

Abdurraqib wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Lawrence Central was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Warren Central only racked up four assists.
