Volleyball Recap: Alpha Academy Comes Up Short

Alpha Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Riverside Christian Academy Royals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Royals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

While Alpha Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-18, 20-25, 25-22.

Alpha Academy's record is now 7-5. As for Riverside Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Alpha Academy nor Riverside Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
