Haiden McWhirt gave up the fewest earned runs he has over his last four matchups on Wednesday. Northfield had no answer to McWhirt as he struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits. Wabash is 3-1 when McWhirt allows three or fewer earned runs, but 3-4 otherwise.
