Recap: Halls Tigers vs. Middleton Tigers

The Halls Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their sixth straight loss. They fell 45-33 to Middleton. While losing is never fun, Halls can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee basketball rankings (they are ranked 331st, while Middleton is ranked 103rd).

Middleton found their leader in underclassman Ja'davion Bills, who scored 15 points along with four steals. That's the first time this season that Bills scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Kaleb Holmes, who scored five points along with three steals.

Halls has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for Middleton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Halls will be playing at home against West Carroll at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Middleton is on the road again on Friday and play against Clarksburg at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th.
