After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Grantsville, South Summit was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Millard Eagles 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Toshlyn Louder spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on seven hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Mariah Bowen was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Brinley Stapleton, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.
