Baseball Recap: Piscataway Drops Season-High Score on Rahway

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Piscataway). Everything went their way against the Rahway Indians on Saturday as they made off with a 22-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Chiefs in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won four in a row.

Piscataway's win bumped their record up to 4-11. As for Rahway, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-8.

Piscataway and Rahway could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Chiefs will take on South River at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (301 vs. 96). Meanwhile, Rahway (ranked 287th) will meet Spotswood (ranked 104th) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
