While Caston's victory against LaVille wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Comets had just enough and edged out the Lancers 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Lancers: they've now won four in a row.

Caston found their leader in sophomore Hadlie Coffing, who had 16 digs.

Caston's victory bumped their record up to 5-21. As for LaVille, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-14.

Coincidentally, Caston and LaVille will both be playing Taylor the next time they take the court. The Lancers will head out to face the Titans at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Comets will play them later in the day, at 11:30 a.m.
