Football Recap: St. Francis Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Friday just wasn't the day for St. Francis's offense. They were beaten by the Racine Lutheran Crusaders 46-0 on Friday. The Mariners haven't had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Aero Smith threw for 29 yards on three of 11 attempts. On the ground, Dorion Higgins rushed for 55 yards.

St. Francis' defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Racine Lutheran, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Francis will take on St. Joseph at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers' defense has only allowed 5.1 points per game this season, so the Mariners' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Racine Lutheran, they will square off against Cedar Grove-Belgium at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
