Meanwhile, Canal Winchester made easy work of Logan on Wednesday and carried off an 8-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Indians in their matchups with the Chieftains: they've now won three in a row.

Lancaster's win was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.6 runs over those games. As for Canal Winchester, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.
