Basketball Recap: Lincoln County Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lincoln County can now relate to. They fell 47-40 to the Thompson Falls Blue Hawks on Saturday. The Lions just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Lincoln County's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Thompson Falls, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Troy the next time they take the court. Thompson Falls will head out to face Troy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Lincoln County will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
