Basketball Recap: Kassie Koski Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Mossyrock

It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Raymond/South Bend ultimately got the result they hoped for on Friday. They managed a 58-54 win over the Mossyrock Vikings.

Raymond/South Bend's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kassie Koski, who went 10 of 25 en route to 27 points and six steals. Koski is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Ava Baugher, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 15 rebounds.

Raymond/South Bend smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in three consecutive matchups.

Raymond/South Bend's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Mossyrock, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.

Raymond/South Bend will take on Onalaska in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
