Basketball Recap: Twinfield Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Twinfield couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 48-47 to the Danville Bears. The Trojans' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Twinfield's defeat dropped their record down to 22-5. As for Danville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.

While Twinfield had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
