Lincoln faced Tolman in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Sunday. The Lions were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Tigers. The Lions are really starting to get used to good results now that the team has won 12 straight.
Brian Gugel paced Lincoln's offense, picking up 16 kills. Gugel got some help from Sebastian DeCubellis and his 36 assists. Finally, Jacob Lizotte kept Lincoln's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.
Lincoln's victory bumped their record up to 20-1. As for Tolman, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 17-6 record.
