After a string of five wins, Falcon's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Classical Academy Titans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-8, 21-25, 25-22.

Olivia Pitts paced Falcon's offense, picking up nine kills. Pitts got some help from Taryn Hall and her 14 assists. Pitts was also a major player on defense: she and she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with three each.

Leading The Classical Academy to victory were Avery Jaeger and Bella Campbell. Jaeger had 51 assists and ten digs, while Campbell had 13 digs. Those ten digs gave Jaeger a new career-high.

Falcon's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 12-5. As for The Classical Academy, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.

Falcon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Sierra on the 9th. As for The Classical Academy, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Elizabeth on the 9th.
