Meanwhile, Manvel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost to Pearland at home by a 60-43 margin.

The victory made it two in a row for South Houston and bumps their season record up to 17-9. As for Manvel, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-12.
