Baseball Recap: Knightstown Takes Down Hauser in a Playoff Battle

With a playoff win on the line, Knightstown rose to the challenge on Saturday. They skirted past the Hauser Jets 7-6. The win was nothing new for the Panthers as they're now sitting on four straight.

Jackson Daves was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run and three RBI.

Knightstown's victory bumped their record up to 24-4. As for Hauser, the loss snapped their winning streak at 14 games and leaves them with a 19-4 record.

Coming up, Knightstown will face off against Indianapolis Lutheran at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Saints have averaged an impressive 8 runs per game this season. Hauser does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
