Baseball Game Preview: Pinnacle Pioneers vs. Hamilton Huskies

The Pinnacle Pioneers will take on the Hamilton Huskies at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Pinnacle came up short against Red Mountain on Wednesday, falling 13-3.

Sam Green made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple. That triple was his first of the season. Colin Follmer was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Meanwhile, Hamilton is still undefeated this season after their contest against Mountain Ridge on Monday, but Mountain Ridge came as close as anyone has to beating them. Hamilton never let Mountain Ridge get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The two-run effort marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Pinnacle now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Hamilton, their win bumped their record up to 5-0.
