Basketball Recap: Connally Takes a Loss

Connally was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 58-34 to the Brownwood Lions. While losing is never fun, the Cadets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 797th, while the Lions are ranked 257th).

Connally's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Brownwood, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 15-6.

Connally will challenge China Spring at 6:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Brownwood, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Nolan Catholic at 6:40 p.m. on Friday.
