Basketball Recap: Tekoa Academy Knight vs. Good Samaritan HomeSchool Hornets
Tekoa Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 63-23 defeat at the hands of the Good Samaritan HomeSchool Hornets.
Leading Good Samaritan HomeSchool to victory were Dominic F and Brock B. F went 5 for 10 en route to 15 points plus eight rebounds and five steals, while B scored 14 points in addition to seven rebounds. F is crushing it when it comes to rebounds: he's pulled down at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Carson S, who posted eight points.
Tekoa Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Good Samaritan HomeSchool, the victory (which was their fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tekoa Academy will venture away from home to face off against Community Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
