Softball Recap: Pitman Pride vs. Enochs Eagles
If Pitman was feeling good fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Modesto on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pride came up short against the Enochs Eagles on Monday, falling 23-12. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-5 defeat back in March.

Kaylee Fuller and Juliet Jimenez stepped up to the plate in a big way. Fuller went 1-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs, while Jimenez went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Jimenez is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Emma Ventura, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.
Pitman's defeat dropped their record down to 13-10. As for Enochs, their record now sits at 12-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pitman will welcome Downey at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Pride are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Enochs, they will be playing at home against Turlock at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles are on a six-game streak of home wins, the Bulldogs a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
