Basketball Game Preview: Umpire Wildcats vs. Mount Ida Lions

Umpire is 0-9 against Mount Ida since January of 2017 but things could change on Thursday. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Umpire Wildcats face off against the Mount Ida Lions at 5:00 p.m.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 56-25, which was the final score in Umpire's tilt against Kirby on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mount Ida). They put the hurt on Blevins with a sharp 63-38 win on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lions as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Umpire's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Mount Ida, their win bumped their record up to 9-6.
