Volleyball Recap: Clear Springs Snaps Four-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

Clear Springs won the last time they faced Clear Creek and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Chargers came out on top against the Wildcats by a score of 3-1.

Clear Springs was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-27, 25-22, 25-19.

Lianna Kearns went supernova, getting 25 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (nine). Brylie Reitz also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Clear Springs' victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 22-8. As for Clear Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 13-15.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clear Springs will take on rival Clear Brook at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Clear Creek is set to square off against their familiar foe Dickinson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
