Tri-County North's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Preble Shawnee Arrows. The win was some much needed relief for the Panthers as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Tri-County North had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-17, 25-23, 25-17.

Chloe Jackson paced Tri-County North's offense, picking up seven kills. Jackson got some help from Bailey Quinn and her ten assists. Paityn Davidson controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

Tri-County North's victory bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Preble Shawnee, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri-County North will venture away from home to square off against Brookville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Preble Shawnee, they will head out to challenge Carlisle at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
