Football Recap: Howell Takes Down Kalamazoo Central in a Playoff Battle + How To Watch

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Howell had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Kalamazoo Central Maroon Giants 45-20. The Highlanders might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six contests by 21 points or more this season.

Howell was led to victory by Preston Barb and Brody Stack. Barb threw for 48 yards and a pair of touchdowns, while Stack picked up 31 receiving yards and one score. The dominant performance also gave Barb a new career-high in rushing yards (22).

The win was the seventh in a row for Howell, bringing their record up to 9-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.1 points over those games. As for Kalamazoo Central, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 6-4.
