Northeastern waltzed into their game  on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They beat the South Adams Starfires by the very same score they won with in their prior game:  8-4. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  8-4  on Saturday.
 Northeastern let  Logan White and  Eli Jasinski run wild. White  went 1-for-3 with two  RBI and one  double, while  Jasinski  went 1-for-3 with two  stolen bases, one  run,  and one  RBI.  Jarrett Leitner was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with one  double.
Northeastern's win was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 16-6. Those  road  victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for South Adams,  they are  on  a  four-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 5-20.
 Northeastern and South Adams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Knights will face off against Centerville at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. As for South Adams, they will challenge Whitko at 5:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Starfires' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Wildcats have averaged an impressive 7  runs per game this season.
