Softball Recap: Elverado Comes Up Short

Elverado's last matchup with Harrisburg could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Saturday. The Falcons lost 11-1 to the Bulldogs. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Falcons, who until this matchup were averaging 3.89 runs allowed.

Elverado has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-7 record this season. As for Harrisburg, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-7.
