            Softball Preview: Loveland Tigers vs. West Clermont Wolves        
        
		
        
        
            The Loveland Tigers will face off against the West Clermont Wolves at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Loveland has given up an average of 8.3  runs per game this season, but Thursday's  game will give them a chance to turn things around.
Loveland's last matchup with Little Miami could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's  contest on Wednesday. The Tigers lost  12-3 to the Panthers. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Tigers in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost eight in a row.
  Helena Keeton made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  went 2-for-4 with two  RBI and one  double.
 Meanwhile, West Clermont suffered their closest  defeat since April 27, 2024 on Wednesday. They fell just short of Walnut Hills by a score of  10-8.
 West Clermont's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Loveland, they now  have a losing record of 5-6.
 Everything went Loveland's way against West Clermont when the teams last played  back in March, as Loveland made off with  an  11-5 win. Will the Tigers repeat their success,  or do  the Wolves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
