Basketball Game Preview: Westside Seminoles vs. Pike County Pirates

The Westside Seminoles and the Pike County Pirates will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Westside is coming into the contest hot, having won their last five games.

On Tuesday, Westside didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Pike County, but they still walked away with a 52-46 victory.

Westside will have to contain Sadie Lewis as she made an impact in Pike County's last game. She posted 17 points and three steals. That's the most points Lewis has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Maliyah Holmes, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards.

Westside pushed their record up to 10-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 27.8 points. As for Pike County, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
