Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory entered their tilt with Speedway on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They came out on top against the Sparkplugs by a score of 7-3. The Braves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Sparkplugs, too.

Austin Braun looked comfortable as he tossed four innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Andrew O'Brien, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. Anthony Suscha was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-6. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Speedway, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-12-1 record this season.

The Sparkplugs are facing the Raiders at the right time seeing as the Raiders are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
