Hart's game on Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Mission Hills Grizzlies by a score of 5-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Tristan Purfoy tossed a big game, tossing 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Dominic Miraglia, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2. He also put up a hit, which was his first of the season. Another player making a difference was Brady Werther, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Hart's victory bumped their record up to 3-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hart will host Oaks Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Oaks Christian's pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so Hart's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mission Hills, they will square off against Rancho Bernardo at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
