Baseball Recap: Whitko Takes a Loss

Whitko and Woodlan squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Whitko had to settle for second. They fell 6-1 to the Warriors. Having soared to a lofty 15 runs in the game before, the Wildcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Whitko saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chandler Cox, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Whitko has also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-12 record this season. As for Woodlan, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 12-10.

As of now, neither Whitko nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
