Soccer Recap: California Triumphs

California gave up the first goal on Thursday, but they didn't let that get them down. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Fremont Tigers.

California's victory bumped their record up to 3-1-1. As for Fremont, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. California will be home for the holidays to greet Clayton Valley Charter at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Clayton Valley Charter is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3 goals per game this season. As for Fremont, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Oakland at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
