River Valley benefitted from Smith in 100-48 victory
Carson Smith produced his most outstanding game to date while leading River Valley to the win on Wednesday. Highland had no answer to Smith as he scored 33 points along with four steals. Smith hasn't dropped below 18 points for three straight games.
Smith and River Valley will head out on the road to face off against Galion at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. River Valley got just the result they wanted when they last faced Galion, probably because Smith had a solid game then too: he scored 27 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
