Soccer Recap: St. Marys vs. Warren
After flying high against Central Clarion [Clarion/Clarion-Limestone/North Clarion] last Monday, St. Marys came back down to earth. The St. Marys Flying Dutch lost 9-2 to the Warren Dragons on Tuesday. The Flying Dutch were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Dragons apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2017.
St. Marys' loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-4. As for Warren, they now have a winning record of 7-6.
St. Marys will head out to take on Brookville at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Warren, they will welcome Oil City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Warren is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5.1 goals per game this season.
