The Rittman Indians will head out to face off against the Oberlin Phoenix at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Rittman will be strutting in after a win while Oberlin will be coming in after a loss.

Rittman will roll into the matchup after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up two runs on Wednesday, then bounced right back against Crestline on Thursday. In other batting news, Carly Frame was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Those two stolen bases gave her a new career-high. Alexis LaBo was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in two of her three plate appearances.

Rittman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Crestline only posted an OBP of .261.

Meanwhile, Oberlin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 13-12 heartbreaker at the hands of Open Door Christian.

Rittman's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Oberlin, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
