Baseball Game Preview: Burges Mustangs vs. Andress Eagles

The Burges Mustangs will head out to take on the Andress Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Burges is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Burges came up short against Canutillo on Tuesday, falling 7-1.

Burges saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Victor Aguirre, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Andress came up short against El Paso on Tuesday and fell 8-3. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Burges' loss dropped their record down to 6-13-2. As for Andress, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-13.

Burges came out on top in a nail-biter against Andress when the teams last played back in March, sneaking past 2-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
