Soccer Game Preview: Maple Mountain vs. Granger

The Maple Mountain Golden Eagles will face off against the Granger Lancers at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Maple Mountain is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against East on Thursday. Maple Mountain fell just short of East by a score of 2-1. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Corbin Gardner, which was the first he's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Granger narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Provo 3-2.

The win got Granger back to even at 1-1. As for Maple Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
