Softball Recap: Lansing Comes Up Short

Lansing came into their game on Wednesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 12-0 to the Edison Spartans. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Bobcats' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Lansing has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Edison, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Looking ahead, Lansing will square off against Batavia at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Edison, they will challenge Corning-Painted Post West at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
