Baseball Recap: Croton-Harmon Comes Up Short

Croton-Harmon started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Walter Panas. They fell just short of the Panthers by a score of 3-2 on Wednesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oren Rouas was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out seven over five innings pitched. That one hit allowed gave him a new career-low.

At the plate, Sam Levine made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Croton-Harmon's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Walter Panas, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

While Croton-Harmon had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
