Basketball Recap: Dodson Takes a Loss

Dodson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Scobey/Opheim Spartans, falling 53-11. The Coyotes were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-8.

Jazlyn KillEagle was Dodson's leading scorer, having posted five points.

Dodson's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Scobey/Opheim, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dodson won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Saco/Whitewater/Hinsdale at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Scobey/Opheim, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Dodson at 5:30 p.m. on January 24, 2025.
