Northfield and Denver South squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Northfield had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a 43-0 loss at the hands of the Ravens. Having soared to a lofty 38 points in the game before, the Nighthawks' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Even if they lost, Northfield's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. Morgan Pauley refused to say out of the backfield, picking up two sacks all by herself.

Northfield has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-6 record this season. As for Denver South, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-2.
