Screven County had won three straight games and Jaliah Roberts did her part to make it four on Friday. The Screven County Gamecocks came out on top against the McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers by a score of 51-38 thanks to Roberts, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 14 rebounds. The match was her sixth in a row with at least 15 points.

Another player making a difference was Rayven Tyler, who posted nine points and five boards. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024.

McIntosh County Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was J'Myiah Moore, who put up ten points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Harper Willis, who earned four points and seven boards.

Screven County's win bumped their record up to 17-5. As for McIntosh County Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 10-15.

Screven County has already played their next game, a 61-30 victory against McIntosh County Academy on the 11th. As for McIntosh County Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 37-29 win against Savannah on the 10th.
