Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lathrop). They blew past the East Buchanan Bulldogs, posting an 81-35 victory. The win was all the more spectacular given the Mules' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 421st, while the Bulldogs are ranked 105th).

The victory made it two in a row for Lathrop and bumps their season record up to 6-11. As for East Buchanan, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 12-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: East Buchanan beat Lathrop by a score of 71-46 on Monday.
