Soccer Recap: Olympia Snaps Three-Game Streak of Losses on the Road

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Williamsville, Olympia was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They never let the East Peoria Raiders get on the board and left with a 3-0 win.

Olympia hit East Peoria with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ava Sizemore, Ella Evans, and Grace Birkey.

Olympia's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8-1. As for East Peoria, they dropped their record down to 0-14-1 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olympia will host Peoria Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Peoria Christian's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Olympia's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for East Peoria, they will challenge Morton at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Morton will roll in looking for their 12th straight win, something East Peoria surely won't give up without a fight.
